FAQs

What are your opening hours?

Green Oaks Day Nursery is open Mon - Fri from 8am-6pm. We offer various sessions including Full Day (8am - 6pm), Morning Session (8am - 1pm) & Afternoon Session (1pm - 6pm). We close for 4 weeks of the year - 2 weeks at Christmas, 1 week at Easter and 1 week in August. We are also closed on bank holidays and for staff inset days.

What ages do you take?

We look after children from 0-5 years.

Do you take children with special needs?

Yes, we are an inclusive setting and we accept all children into our setting. We will make the adjustments required to meet your child’s needs.

Are meals included?

We provide breakfast, morning and afternoon snacks, lunch & tea. All of which are prepared freshly on-site by our chef.

What are your fees?

Please see our ‘Fees’ tab for a breakdown of our fees. We charge a non-refundable registration fee and a fully refundable deposit.

What is the application process?

If you are interested in sending your child to our setting, you will need to fill in an application form. When we have a space, we will contact you with a place offer. You will then need to fill out a registration form, and pay £75 admin fee, and fully refundable deposit. 

Do you accept childcare vouchers?

Yes, we accept childcare vouchers from all providers.

What is your complaints procedure?

If any parent/carer/member of staff should have any cause for complaint, they should in the first instance notify the Manager Kristina Michael. The matter will be fully investigated and details of the investigation, any action taken as a result of that investigation and whether the complainant was satisfied with the outcome will be fully recorded in a written record. A copy of this record will be provided to the complainant within 28 days of receiving the complaint.

Should a matter not be resolved to the satisfaction of the complainant then the complainant has the right to raise the matter with Ofsted who can be contacted in the following ways:
